Quality Assurance Engineer - Hexis Technology Hub

Our client is a leading tour operator in Iceland, where they sell tours as a travel agent in Iceland, Canada, Scandinavia and other countries. We are looking for experienced developers to join their team, where the primary focus will be on building a sales platform for our global operation.

This for example includes sales logic, packages/bundles, customer portal logic, integrations with inventory systems (tours, cars, hotels), integrations with payment gateways, build an API that our websites will use and integration with their tour operations software.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, responsible people to develop and execute automated and functional tests to ensure product quality, as well as being the evangelist and protector for the quality of the project. Are you a Quality Gatekeeper?

• +2 years’ experience in functional testing and a few automation.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools processes and development cycles.
• Write, design, and execute tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
• Analyze testing results and continuously improve automated tests.
• Experience in RESTful API services testing and automation.
• Motivated, self-starter and organized.
• Share with the team the importance of following and adopting good testing practices, suggesting adjustments and needs throughout the project.
• Growth as a tester and person: learn new technologies, technical and non-technical skills ‣ Excellent analytical and strong problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills (English is a must)
